Patiently Waiting For You

In life you find yourself fallen. Fallen in a place of hurt, anger, depression, desperation, and shame….in a place of repetition, in and out of life’s detrimental cycles. Just remember, He is patient with you!

Judgement Day may seem slow to come and may not be near to some. Remember, He is patient with you!

In His patience He allows you to receive salvation and although, you have fallen, He remains patient with you!

Patiently waiting for you to repent and receive His Salvation. I ask myself what kind of love is this? I’m reminded, it’s the love of the Father, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ….there’s none like Him and none above Him!

Just as I began, to complete this post….my Pandora station plays and I hear the lyrics to “Kindness” by Chris Tomlin…..

“It’s Your kindness Lord That leads us to repentance / Your favor Lord, is our desire / It’s Your beauty Lord That makes us stand in silence /Your love , Your love Is better than life”

How does one describe that…coincidence? Nah, just the presence of the Holy Spirit!

” Then Isaiah said, “Hear now, you house of David! Is it not enough to try the patience of humans? Will you try the patience of my God also?” Isaiah 7:13

“But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:8-9

Declare Life over Your Day!

Lord, I pray over my mind today. I thank you that my mind is renewed, refreshed, made whole and full of fresh and new ideas to help me advance the kingdom. I thank you Lord, that your spirit lives in me. Your word declares, there is death and life in the power of the tongue. So, God I pray that you anoint my mouth to speak the words you would have me to speak.  Adjust my attitude to be more like your son, Jesus. If anything is in me that is not of you, I come against it and command it to leave, to wither up, dry up, and vacate my mind, body and spirit. I command it to loose itself and God I ask that you throw it into the sea of the abyss never to return to my body again. Lord, I thank you that when I fall short you forgive me of my sins over and over again. I thank you for never leaving me and for saving me. Thank you for walking beside me this day and days to come.

In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen!

Holy Spirit You Are Welcome

“Holy Spirit you are welcome here / Come flood this place and fill the atmosphere / Your glory God, is what our hearts long for / To be overcome by your presence Lord /  Let us become more aware of your presence / Let us experience the glory of your goodness!”

I cannot get this song out of my head….I played it over and over while at work yesterday…..over and over once I got home from work…..I went to bed with the words embedded and playing over and over in my head….I woke up this morning and to no surprise these exact words were still in my head!

I pray that you encounter the sweet presence of God today. I pray that even in your daily tasks and routine, you are drawn to him. I pray that you are embraced with his comfort, his grace, his love, and his goodness. His presence is indescribable….Encounter him today and may you encounter someone else that is blessed by the sweet Holy Spirit upon you!

“Yield My Heart”

I was in my kitchen last nite….and I was jacked up from listening to Kierra Sheard’s single, “Indescribable!” That song messed me all the way up….YES, all the way up. Has anyone else been jacked up by the Holy Spirit? When I say jacked up I mean, it takes you  through praise – into worship – into boo-hoo’n – crying – and wiping away tears. I know I’m not the only one! It’s just amazing when you proclaim words that seem small, yet describe a BIG God – they stir up the Holy Spirit….words like, INDESCRIBABLE, UNCONTAINABLE, POWERFUL, UNTAMEABLE, INCOMPARABLE, UNCHANGEABLE. When you speak these words and think of all He’s done for you….all that He’s able to do….and all that He will do – something in the heavens breaks forth and fills you until it overflows. If you’ve ever experienced this – you know exactly what I mean….Isn’t it amazing!?

Some of you may know, I’m a huge Kim Walker-Smith fan! I was also listening to one of her latest songs, “Yield My Heart” and the verse below is a petition to Jesus –  asking Jesus to teach us how to walk like him, asking him to let us be a place where He can rest and pour out his love, grace, and kindness! Have you ever let Him just pour His love into you? It’s such a sweet presence – I promise nothing is greater than that feeling.

Teach us how, teach us how, Jesus
To walk with You, as one with You, Jesus
Let us be a place where You can rest
Let us be a place where You can rest
With Your presence, God
To host Your presence, Jesus
Let us be a place where You can rest
Where You can pour out Your love, Your grace, Your kindness, Jesus
Teach us how, teach us how, Jesus
To walk everyday, everyday with You Jesus
And to yield our hearts, to give our hearts to You Jesus
To trust You, even when we cannot see
To trust You, even when the mountain seems so big
We will trust You, God,
Our faith will rise up from deep down inside
Cause we know that You are bigger still,
You are bigger still, You are bigger still, Jesus
We will yield our hearts, lay down our hearts for You, Jesus
We yield our hearts, we yield our hearts to You, Jesus

Some of you may ask, well – What does it mean to yield my heart….How can I surrender my heart to God….What do I have to do? I got some help from  All About Following I believe this will help answer some of your questions:

“The word “surrender” is defined as: to yield, give up or over, submit, abandon, relinquish, cede, waive, or capitulate. In some translations, the word “surrender” is not found, but the concepts of “yielding” (Romans 6:16-19) or submitting (James 4:7) are used instead. In order to surrender your heart, body, and soul to God, one must be willing to yield to the sovereign claim of a righteous God. What is that claim? We need to understand that man is separated from a Holy God by sin and there must be reconciliation. The good news is that God has made a provision for man to be reconciled to Himself and that provision is found in the once-for-all sacrifice made by the Lord Jesus Christ on the cross.

To surrender heart, body, and soul to God, one must understand that we are made up of our heart/mind, body, and soul. Yielding one part of ourselves without yielding the other is impossible. If we try to separate ourselves, we become “double minded” and therefore unstable (James 1:8). However, the initial surrender is only the beginning. The surrender of your heart, body, and soul to God is an ongoing process that begins the moment one is born again as a child of God and it continues until He calls the believer home or Jesus comes again. The process is one of growth in grace and knowledge and that comes from studying the Word of God and choosing to apply divine viewpoint to the life on a daily, sometimes moment-by-moment basis.

The eternal soul of man has one of two conditions. The first condition is eternally separated from God. If that condition is NOT remedied during life here on earth by accepting Jesus Christ as Savior (John 14:6), that soul is separated from God for eternity with no remedy. The second condition is that of a born-again soul. That person will have fellowship and communication with God through the LORD Jesus Christ during this life and will then enjoy His presence for eternity. Therefore, to surrender your heart, body, and soul to God, accept the LORD Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and LORD. “

So, the question you must answer to yourself is, what condition do I want to meet? Do I want to be eternally separated from God, lost without hope and peace or do I want to maintain fellowship and communication with Him to enjoy His presence, love, and kindness for eternity?

“Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me.” – Psalm 51:10

“Therefore abandon the foreign gods that are among you, and turn your hearts to the LORD, the God of Israel.” – Joshua 24:23

Enter the Promises of God

Enter into the promises of God. It is your inheritance. You will do more in one year if you are really filled with the Holy Ghost than you could do in fifty years apart from Him.

– Smith Wigglesworth

“Trying to do the Lord’s work in your own strength is the most confusing, exhausting, and tedious of all work. But when you are filled with the Holy Spirit, then the ministry of Jesus just flows out of you.”

– Corrie Ten Boom

Are You Willing To Die?

Yes, that’s my question. Are you willing to die? Are you willing to give your life away? If God asked you to lay your life down on the railroad tracks in front of a moving train, just so He could save you – Would you do it? If He led you to the highest mountain top and asked you to jump, just so He could pick you up – Would you do it? If He told you to stand in the midst of a blazing fire, just to sanctify you – Would you do it?

Listen – I know these acts are somewhat radical and maybe even suicidal, but the truth of the matter is, He’s calling you to give up your life just so He can save you! Will you die to yourself and give your life to Him? You hear him calling, but you ignore Him. He’s tugging on your heart, but you pretend He’s not there. Stop running. Stop right where you are today. He wants you – All of you! Will you pursue Him and only Him? He said, “whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will save it.– Luke 9:24

“Spirit Break Out”

Our Father, all of Heaven roars Your name
Sing louder, let this place erupt with praise
Can you hear it, the sound of Heaven touching Earth
The sound of Heaven touching Earth

Spirit break out
Break our walls down
Spirit break out
Heaven come down

King Jesus You’re the name we’re lifting high
Your glory shaking up the earth and skies
Revival we wanna see Your kingdom here
We wanna see Your kingdom here

Spirit break out
Break our walls down
Spirit break out
Heaven come down

Lyrics to “Spirit Break Out” song by Kim Walker

So, I just bought Kim Walker’s new CD, Alive on iTunes a couple of days ago and I can’t stop listening to it. This is one of my favorite songs!

This song has such a powerful declaration – “Spirit break out / Break our walls down/ Spirit break out / Heaven come down – these words are soooo moving! I was listening to this song on the way to work in the car and singing these words alone, will invite the holy spirit! Imagine if all the earth sang and shouted these words – I wonder what would break out of Heaven across the earth?
