OK, maybe – I don’t have any free legal advice or legal information to give you, but I have something better for you on – How you can live in the will of God and be blessed!
Anytime that you are outside God’s will – you’re going to face affliction, you’re going to face trials and you’re going to face tribulations. You’ll be faced with turmoil and you’ll be faced with problems and issues that God did not intend for you to face. Now, don’t get me wrong – Life will give you disappointments, difficulties, and hardships and God allows these things to reach us because ultimately, He has permission to make it His – not yours! Even, with the bad – He will receive the glory! It’s not for you – It’s for Him…for His namesake!
Nevertheless, through His covenant we are able to enjoy a relationship with Him and it’s so much better because it’s as if, He takes your hand in marriage – He makes a vow and says…I’ll keep you protected against Satan…I’ll give you peace….I’ll give you rest. In this covenant there’s no bargaining – there’s no saying if I do this for you – can you do this for me? You can’t say, God well, I gave a donation to this charity…or I helped out a friend in need…or I gave food and clothing to a homeless person so, I need something in return – Let me be clear, He does remember these things and other acts of kindness, but He will bless you abundantly when you are in His will. There’s no negotiations…there’s no prenup. So, if you fail – guess what? He won’t take you to divorce court – He’ll continue to accept you – He’ll continue to love you unconditionally – He’ll continue to pick you up even if you fall 1,000 times. Most importantly, to set up that covenant you have to choose to live according to His will…not the will that you have for yourself…not the will where you say…well, you know what? I know this aint right, I know I’m messed up, but I’ll eventually change – just not today. Give me a minute…give me some time…give me a couple months….which, then turn into a couple of years – But, WAIT those years turn into years…..after years….after years.
Something is OUT OF LINE and it’s not God! Anytime that you are not aligned with His will, you’re not following His commands, you’re not aligned with the call He has for you – Anytime that you stray away from that, you will face issues. These issues can become a repetition. They’ll become a cycle that will repeat itself over and over and over. By cycle – I mean generational cycles – financial cycles, cycles where you’re living paycheck to paycheck – running out of money every month (oh, and believe me I’ve been here), cycles where there’s a sickness you’re constantly dealing with, cycles where there’s always a problem where you turn to someone else to fix. These are issues that God did not intend for you. You can break it, by laying your life down and being obedient…being disciplined. That cycle can break when you say, Lord – you know what…I’M TIRED! I’M DONE! I don’t want to do this on my own. I love you…I trust you and I want to follow the plan that you have for me. I confess my sins…I repent and God I need you! I need you to show me…I need you to help me. I choose to live my life for you. I don’t care what anyone else around me has to say. I don’t care what my family has to say. I don’t care what my friends have to say and what my boyfriend or girlfriend has to say. I CHOOSE TO LIVE FOR YOU. You are all that I’m living for. You are the reason for every breath that I take. You are the reason I wake up in the morning and have the very life I live…because of You. It’s not about me…it’s not about anyone or anything else. When you choose to do that – when you choose to forget everything else and lay your life down for the will of God…I’m telling you, Listen – He will bless you Abundantly…Abundantly Above and Beyond.
I hope you are encouraged…I hoped that sparked something in you..I hope that taps into something to make you think – Hey, there’s some things in my life I have to change. There’s some things I have to give up, to be blessed above and beyond measure.
The bible says, “If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. All these blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey the Lord your God: You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the country.The fruit of your womb will be blessed, and the crops of your land and the young of your livestock—the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks.Your basket and your kneading trough will be blessed.You will be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out.” Deuteronomy 28:1-6
